What’s a Holgarama

A ‘Holgarama’ is an overlapping multiple exposure photograph made with a plastic film camera called the Holga (a Chinese camera that has a cult following). The panoramic-like images are done by only partially advancing the film between exposures. The film is ultimately scanned and worked in Photoshop, though the composition is mostly straight from the negative (the collaging is done during the shooting… in-camera). The images are typically a half of a roll of medium-format film, most often color negative film. They are printed as digital C-prints, on traditional wet-processed light-sensitive paper.
