Bits and Pieces

This hybrid series called “Bits and Pieces” includes fragments of people (and dogs) where the ground is also an integral part of the image. These can be seen as a combination of my “Legs and Feet” type pictures and the ground images that evolved from doing these. While shooting peoples’ feet passing in and out of the frame, I decided I would also take pictures without the human element. Both series are abstract in nature, with the ground images becoming even more so. The ground pictures are more about stillness; the opposite of my typical focus. The fragment pictures have a little of both. These images are from the winter of 2015.
